I really couldn’t tell you exactly how we met, but somewhere around second grade we did and the rest is history. Dabay (yes, it’s her real name) is an only child, so naturally we became sisters.
We pretty much did everything together for years, including dancing to the spice girls with our other childhood friends for a talent show, went on family vacations and spent holidays with our families, worked the same schedule for our first job (we were lifeguards… still the best summer of our lives), etc. The list goes on and on! There was a point in time where everyone thought we were twins and we soooo ran with that. We shared clothes, she taught me how to drive stick in her pick up truck, and I was the Maid of Honor at her wedding. I’ve literally known her for two decades and I cannot picture my life with out her. She is also a pearl girl (like Ali) and extremely talented. She can sing her heart out and can decorate and craft like a boss (check out her blog)!
When I was home in “DA” BAY AREA for the week of Thanksgiving, we last minute snuck up to Montgomery Hill to snap some photos. The sun was setting, giving everything in site a golden hue for a half an hour or so before in went behind the hills.
Enjoy!
What a beautiful classy pearl. I love how peaceful and poised Dabay looks. It goes perfectly with the setting which captures her essence! I love the bench shot! The lighting is perfect!!! Talent at its finest
